Hi, my name is Jordan Scott. I am the proud owner of Thistle and Finch Construction LLC where our goal is to take old buildings and restore them back to usable condition. Thistle and Finch specializes in purchasing homes that need significant work — properties that others often overlook. We carefully renovate each home with quality craftsmanship, then offer them back to the community as solid, affordable places to live.

We believe a well-built home shouldn’t be out of reach. By focusing on value, durability, and thoughtful updates, we help more families find a place they can call their own without compromising on quality.

Our Process

From neglected to move-in ready

A straightforward approach that prioritizes quality and value at every step.

We Buy

We look for homes that need significant repair or updating — properties with lots of potential but years of deferred maintenance. These are the homes that can become great again. Many of these homes are a burden to the owners, and we want to relieve that tension by purchasing as is with no requirements for the seller to clean or make repairs. Many times we are able to close within 7-14 days.

We Renovate

Our team handles structural work, systems, kitchens, baths, flooring, and finishes with a focus on durability and timeless design. Quality materials. Honest workmanship. We are not in it for a quick flip, we desire the home to be ready to handle anything the next family can throw at it!

We Resell

Once complete, we offer the home at a fair price so families can purchase a solid, updated property without paying a premium for unnecessary luxury finishes. Our focus is on delivering substantial value. Such examples are: good insulation that will pay for itself over many years, a quality roof that will hold it's value and protect the investment below, and durable finishes that will withstand the test of little hands.
